Sarah Stockstill
Founder & Director
Sarah has worked in various school settings with a vast range of ages for over 20 years. She also managed cognitive, test preparation, and academic learning centers for over 12 years. She attended the University of Kansas and received a Bachelors in Social Work. She transitioned to Northeastern State University where she earned a teaching certificate in grades 5 through 9.
Whitney Bennett
Instructor
Whitney received her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tulsa. Over the years she has taught reading to preschoolers and elementary-age children. She enjoys helping children fall in love with and build their confidence through reading. She loves creating a hands-on learning environment for elementary school-aged children. Philosophy has helped her grow as an instructor by allowing her the opportunity to customize the curriculum to fit the needs of her students. Currently she has returned to school to get her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Spencer Reynolds
Instructor
Spencer received his Bachelors of Arts in Arts and Technology from UT Dallas. He has worked as a game designer, as well as a creative director on many UI design projects. He has a passion for math, technology, and teaching. He teaches a range of basic math to calculus.
Danny Turpin
Instructor
Danny is a social studies teacher here at Philosophy. Danny graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelors of Science in Group Social Studies, and obtained his Graduate Teaching Certification from GVSU. He previously taught high school history in Lansing, Mi. Danny is currently a student at Rhema Bible Training College. Danny loves Jesus, his beautiful wife Reilly, and his son Isaiah, very much!
Jennifer Proffitt
Instructor
Jennifer graduated from Oral Robert's University with an Elementary Education degree and taught for Union Public Schools, a private school, ESL online, and her greatest joy, homeschooling her own two children. She enjoys the variety of students and subjects that she gets to work with at Philosophy. Jennifer enjoys baking, traveling, and being her daughter's horse wrangler.
Stephanie Landreville
Instructor
Stephanie received her Bachelor's of Secondary Science Education from Northeastern State University. She has taught science for 14 years in various environments and has experience with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Stephanie also has experience leading and coordinating STEM activities within a class setting and as extracurriculars for students like Science Olympiad. She has also, researched and developed Open Science Resources for a local district.
Emily Poulain
Instructor
Emily is a certified Social Studies teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Oklahoma State University. She has taught Social Studies and English in the private school setting for 7 years. She is currently working on a Master’s degree in Culture and Theology with a focus on Community Development from the Seattle School of Theology and Psychology. When she is not working she loves to climb and host people in her home with her husband, Daniel, and 3-year-old son, Jimmy.
Yolanda Daves
Instructor
Yolanda came to teaching full time about 3 years ago after 30 years in oil and gas accounting. She has taught graduate-level finance and accounting classes at the University of Phoenix. She also taught leadership courses in her 23 tenure with the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
Nicole Blissit
Instructor
Nicole has taught in both private and public schools and is beginning her 14th year in Education. Most recently, she taught for Broken Arrow Public Schools for the last 10 years. Nicole is also attending school for a Master's in Clinical Psychology.
Raquel Rosenbaum
Instructor
Raquel is a graduate of the University of South Dakota where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She previously worked with adolescents in the mental health field and is currently a student at Rhema Bible Training College pursing a career in ministry.
Melanie Wespetal
Instructor
Melanie is a graduate of Oral Roberts University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She has been teaching science and math for 8 years in private schools and for undergraduate classes, and loves teaching chemistry most of all!
Audra Field
Instructor
Audra has her Associates in English from TCC and started her Elementary Education Degree at NSU. This will be is Audra's third year teaching, the first two were at Kids in Motion Academy, where she was the Computer and PE teacher. Audra enjoys reading and doing puzzles. She has been working with kids since she was younger and has found a passion for teaching children.
Cynthia Head
Instructor
Cynthia received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing at
Oklahoma State University. She later received her teaching
certification in Elementary Education, Special Education, and
Early Childhood Education. She taught several years in public
schools as an Elementary and Special Education teacher. She
also has spent several years teaching and tutoring in a
homeschool setting.
Lily Clough
Instructor
Lily Clough (BA Chemistry and Mathematics; MS Geosciences) is a PhD student in Computer Sciences at the University of Tulsa with a previous career as a 5th grade and high school math and science teacher. She was a recipient of the 2022 John Mather Nobel Scholarship and 2022 Oklahoma Geosciences Foundation Fellowship. She researches biosignature detection using machine learning for ocean worlds like Europa and Enceladus when she is not teaching.
